Detroit Community Christian is answering the heart cry of Jesus in Luke 10:2. Our calling is to help develop students into leaders who are prepared to bring in the harvest. Our mission at Detroit Community Christian is to reach a lost and broken world with the Good News of Jesus. Achieving that impact requires us to invest in the future, to invest in young people, and to invest in education.
(DCC) is a not-for-profit special focus faith-based ministry. DCC assists the education of students through partnership programs of Biblical and theological studies, general education in the arts and sciences, and professional studies. Emphasis is placed upon cultural awareness and leadership that will prepare workers to establish and serve the church in the United States and around the world.
In accordance with the DCC’s special purpose stated above, we recognize that a student must be as fully prepared as possible. Therefore, the objective is to inspire and involve students in pursuit of the following:

Sports & Wellness Ministry
Our Athletic and wellness ministries integrates physical health with spiritual growth, using fitness, sports, and recreation to foster community, outreach, and holistic well-being. Programs often include personal training, nutrition workshops, team sports, and specialized youth activities, aiming to nurture body, mind, and soul
Sports Ministry students will explore opportunities in various sports and activity-based environments. Students will be prepared for ministry settings such as sports leagues, and recreation centers. The curriculum includes the opportunity to participate in collegiate sports such as Football, Men's & Women's Basketball and Women's Flag Football
College Ministry
The DCC College Ministry through an academic partnership agreement with colleges ensures students are equipped to step into their calling as they pursue their college degree, all while helping to build the future of our ministry.

Students who want a Christian education can enroll through our academic partner.

These students participate and earn practicum hours by working in various capacities in our ministry. This provides them with real-world ministry experience while also receiving support and mentorship from our college academic partner..

These students simultaneously earn their undergraduate degree by taking online classes with our partner,.
Volunteer Groups
DCC provides Leadership & Community Engagement through our Student Services Department. We partner with local community organizations and nonprofits to develop volunteer opportunities to students on a weekly basis. Through active participation and mutually beneficial relationships, we strive to make service the NORM at Detroit Community Christian!
